Scubasure sponsor young diver
Scubasure have recently sponsored a young dive student who won one the coveted 'Rolex Scholarships' of the 'Our world Underwater Society'. These scholarships offer young people who are passionate about diving the chance to learn and experience things which will enable them to be 'future stewards of the waters of the world'.
The student Scubasure is sponsoring is 23 year old Ingrid Rushfeldt Krüger who was born in the US but raised in her parents homeland of Norway. Growing up there sparked Ingrid's passion for nature due to the beautiful and majestic nature of the Nordic countries.
Ingrid started diving at 21, she took her basic diving license and plans to take further training (CMAS**) next year. She is astonished by the beauty under the sea and plans to combine her love of all things scuba with her other skills/interests in order to be 'useful beyond her own existence'. for example Ingrid is a 4th year medical student and is fascinated by the idea of finding a way to prevent decompression sickness through medicine.
Ingrid feels this is a life changing opportunity and privilege. Scubasure would like to wish her all the luck in the world and hope that our contribution goes some way towards helping Ingrid fulfill her dreams and goals.
